Guidelines for Article Contributions
Methods of Article Contributions
All article contributions should be submitted as email attachments to Shixing Wen, Editor-in-Chief (shixingwen@yahoo.com).
Article Length
In contrast with the traditional print journal, our e-journal does not impose limitation to the article length. In other words, authors do not need to confine their thought to an arbitrary limitation of a fixed number of pages.
Reference Style
Chinese Librarianship: an International Electronic Journal (CLIEJ) adopts the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association for its reference style, with the following modifications:
- spell out the full name of the author, rather than using the initial letter for the first or given name;
- separate authors with semi-color, rather than comma, if there are more than two authors.
Examples for print sources:
- For a book:
- Garlock, Kristen L., & Piontek, Sherry. (1996). Building the service-based library web site: A step-by-step guide to design and options. Chicago, IL: American Library Association.
