Dear ICLC members:
The first priority of the club at present is to recruit new members. Thanks to CND's help with its Global News and US News, the news of the establishment of the Internet Chinese Librarians Club (ICLC) has been spread throughout the world. What's more, CND has also made a link in its web pages to our ICLC Home Page. As a result, we have now over 170 members in 19 countries and regions from all the 5 continents. To be specific, our membership so far covers Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Kingdom, and United States. In the United States alone, our membership originates from 34 states plus Washington, D.C.
Now let's strive for the second membership recruitment drive. Those of us ICLC members that have subscribed to various listservs, please send a message to your respective listservs to spread the news and bring more members to our club.
When all our members make an effort, our club will be sure to flourish.
